Our weekly look at the loudest screech from the mainstream media features CBS funnyman David Letterman who, when interviewing NBC newsman Brian Williams last week, praised President Obama for killing Osama bin Laden and asked what more could the voting public ask for. “So now Osama bin Laden finally is gunned down by Barack Obama, displaying great courage and great intelligence. What more do you want to lead your country than that kind of courage and that kind of intelligence?”
Minutes later, Letterman pleaded: “What more do we want this man to do for us, honest to God?”
Media Research Center Vice President of Research Brent Baker explains our pick: “People watch late night comedy shows for comedy, not to hear far-left paranoia and infatuation with Obama's brilliance for personally gunning down bin Laden. They can get that in newscasts.”
Rating: Five out of five screams.
