< p>Boston-based political reporter David Bernstein was so amused by Twitter photos of politicians with their pets that he decided to stick them on a blog and see what would happen. The “#mapoli With Animals” website quickly become a must-do for politicians from all over the state, including Sen. John Kerry (with his puppy V.C.) and Sen. Scott Brown (with dogs Snuggles and Koda).

“Staffers, they’re usually the ones trying to send me stuff,” Bernstein said. “It’s now kind of a thing.”

No pictures of Brown’s political opponent Elizabeth Warren appear yet, but Berstein says they will. “The communications director over there has told me they’re going to send me something,” he said, “now that there’s a couple of good Scott Brown ones.”
