One man was shot and another was stabbed Thursday night in Chantilly, police said.

Officers were called to the county courthouse and found a man who had been shot. Fairfax County police spokeswoman Officer Shelley Broderick said the man had been shot somewhere in Chantilly and then was driven to the courthouse. The victim was taken to a hospital.

While officers were dealing with the shooting incident, a stabbing victim walked into Fair Oaks hospital, police said.

The man said he had been stabbed somewhere in Chantilly, Broderick said. She couldn't say if the two incidents were related.
