A Forestville man was arrested Thursday morning and faces child pornography charges, police said.

Chandler Earl Vines, 22, is charged with two counts each of possession and distribution of child pornography, Maryland State Police said. He faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted.

Air Force investigators found a computer sharing child pornography on a peer-to-peer network. Police said that the information was passed along to a State Police investigator in April, and the investigator traced the child porn-related activity to Vines' address.

A preliminary examination of a computer Vines owned found the presence of child pornography, police said.
