Only Yellow Line riders will get any respite this weekend from the ubiquitous track work on Metro.

Elsewhere, Orange Line riders will face a shutdown in Northern Virginia, and riders on the other three lines will endure delays as trains share a single track in some areas.

The work begins at 10 p.m. Friday and lasts through the weekend. Here’s what riders need to know:

Orange Line: Rail service will be split into two segments at East and West Falls Church, meaning riders passing through there need to take a free shuttle bus between the two stations. Metro estimates riders should expect 20-minute delays.

Blue Line: Trains will share a single track between Stadium-Armory and Addison Road. Riders should tack 15 minutes extra onto their travel plans, Metro warns.

Red Line: Trains will share a single track between Takoma and Forest Glen, leading to an estimated 10-minute delay for riders.

Green Line: Trains will share a single track between College Park and Greenbelt, so riders should build in an extra 15 minutes to their trips.
