Fairfax County police are distributing a sketch of a murder suspect wanted in connection with the slaying of a man in Reston.

Police said the murder occurred shortly after midnight on Saturday in the 11900 block of Winterthur Lane in Reston. Police got a report of a fight but initially found nothing. Then about an hour later, in the same neighborhood, they found the body of Bharat P. Patel, 40, with trauma to his upper body.

Police described the suspect as an Indian male between the ages of 25 and 35, who is about 5 foot 5 inches tall and has a thin build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray, long-sleeved shirt with a thin orange stripe down the sleeves.  Police caution that he should be considered dangerous,
