$0: How much Organizing for America's Virginia chapter is charging for an event with actor Kal Penn. The former White House aide will appear at Cafe Asia in Arlington to discuss how young people can get involved in President Obama's grassroots campaign. Penn is among a number of celebrities who are involved in the re-election campaign, though normally they have been used to draw in big fundraising dollars. Tickets for the George Clooney dinner held in Los Angeles last month cost $40,000, the same amount the campaign is charging for the forthcoming dinner being hosted by Sarah Jessica Parker and Vogue editor Anna Wintour in New York. Both those dinners, of course, also promised a visit from POTUS, which Penn's event does not. Penn's Virginia event will take place tonight from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
