A man was shot outside of a bar Monday night in Prince George's County, police said.

The incident occurred about 10:45 p.m. in the 4800 block of Marlboro Pike in Capitol Heights. The gunman shot the man in the leg and then fled, Prince George's County police spokesman Clinton Copeland said.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, police said.

No information about the suspect was available, and police are continuing to investigate the shooting.
