Friends and customers gathered Friday at Grace Deli in Northeast Washington to pay their respects to a business owner slain a day earlier.

June Lim, 64, was shot and killed about 6 a.m. Thursday during a robbery, police said. Lin's body was found at the deli she had owned for eight years in the 700 block of H Street NE. Investigators said she suffered a single gunshot wound to the neck.

Many loyal customers said Lim was more like a family member than a store owner, adding that she knew their deli orders by memory.

D.C. police have offered a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone with information about the death. Tipsters can call police at 202-727-9099 or send a text message with information to 50411.
