Silverdocs kicks off
The 10th year of Washington's annual documentary film festival will bring 114 films from 44 countries to the region. Silverdocs kicked off Monday and runs through Sunday. As well as film screenings, the event will feature panel discussions and workshops for documentary filmmakers. The movies are being shown at AFI Silver Theatre & Cultural Center, the Discovery HD Theater in the Discovery Corp. headquarters and Round House Theatre, all in downtown Silver Spring.
