Real estate mogul, reality TV star and billionaire Donald Trump can go ahead and tack a wine and vineyard enterprise onto his growing pile of assets. The Donald celebrated the opening of his newly acquired Trump Vineyard Estates in Charlottesville on Tuesday with a private reception attended by Gov. Bob McDonnell and Trump’s son, Eric, who was named president of the operation. Back in April, Trump purchased almost 800 acres of the Kluge Estate and Winery at an auction for just over $6 million from the one-time elite society power couple Patricia Kluge and William Moses. The couple lost the winery after the bank foreclosed on it, but the Donald has kept Kluge on as vice president of operations and Moses as CEO.
