CARTERSVILLE, Ga. (AP) — A north Georgia museum is hosting an exhibit featuring 20 photos that have been selected as winners of an international microscopic photography contest.

Officials at the Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville say winning photos from Nikon's "Small World" photo contest will be on exhibition between Jan. 18 and April 17. The exhibit features photos of microscopic cells, animals and more.

The contest features photos taken using a microscope and the Tellus Science Museum is the only location in Georgia that is scheduled to feature the exhibit.

This year's exhibit is set to travel through 16 states.

Cartersville is about 45 miles northwest of Atlanta.
