Artur Davis: Allen West is the face of flat tops

"In my opinion, not only is he the face of the black conservative movement, I sincerely believe he's the haircut of that movement as well."

-- Former Rep. Artur Davis, remarking on Rep. Allen West's distinct hairstyle on Wednesday. Davis delivered a 30-minute speech to the small gathering, hosted by Move-On-Up, a black conservative organization, in which he discussed the role of personal responsibility in government. Davis couldn't resist mentioning West's 'do a second time, when he said officials must represent everyone, not just those who look like them. "Allen West does not get to just serve African-American men with flat tops," he said.
