As ‘snowquester’ hits Washington, White House postpones First Lady’s Twitter chat

According to a release from the White House, First Lady Michelle Obama’s ‘Let’s Move’ Twitter chat scheduled for today has been postponed. The federal government closed offices in Washington D.C. this morning in advance of the storm as forecasters predicted up to 10 inches of snow.

As a White House photo (posted above) from this morning shows, there is very little snow currently accumulating at the White House.

The First Lady was scheduled to answer questions about her anti-obesity  initiative today using her official twitter account. The Twitter Q&A has been postponed to Monday, March 11.

Calls to the First Lady’s Press Office went unanswered.
