CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Chain restaurants will have to post nutritional information on menus under a bill passed by the Nevada Assembly.
AB126 was approved late Thursday on a mostly party-line vote.
Republican Minority Leader Pat Hickey spokes against the bill, saying it could be in conflict with federal regulations.
But Democratic Assemblywoman Ellen Spiegel said that as someone who's struggled with weight, nutritional information is welcome.
The bill now goes to the Senate.
