What does President Obama think about Nicki Minaj’s “endorsement” of Mitt Romney? The president shared his thoughts during a phone interview with a pop radio station this morning.

“Yeah, I’m not sure that’s actually what happened, I think she had a a song on this – a little rap that said that, but she likes to play different characters,” Obama said. “So I don’t know what’s going on there.”

Obama added that although he and Michelle “try to keep up,” with the latest pop culture, kids are “hipper” he was and didn’t listen to Nicki Minaj that much.
