Humor writer Dave Barry will be making an appearance at the National Press Club to sign copies of his book "Insane City." The event, which takes place Feb. 1 at 1 p.m., is free to National Press Club members and will cost $5 for the general public. The Press Club announcement also notes this fun fact: Barry plays in a rock band called the Rock Bottom Remainders with famed horror scribe Stephen King, "Joy Luck Club" author Amy Tan and best-selling writers Ridley Pearson and Mitch Albom. Perhaps the folks at the Press Club can recruit this group for next year's Journopalooza.
