Arlington police and the FBI are looking for information about a man who robbed a bank in the county last month.
The robbery occurred at about 4 p.m. on Dec. 11. During the incident, the robber entered the Bank of America on the 3600 block of S. Glebe Road and approached a teller with a hand-written note that demanded money. After the man received money, he fled the business on foot, authorities said.
The robber, seen in surveillance video, was described as a black male, 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds.
He was wearing a black jacket, a knit hat, a scarf, mirrored sunglasses, black gloves, dark pants and tennis shoes.
"Anybody that walks into a bank and demands money poses a safety and security risk to the citizens in the bank," FBI spokeswoman Lindsay Godwin said.
Detectives do not believe that this robbery is related to other incidents in the area, Godwin said.
