A facelifted version of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta has been unveiled with a hi-tech diesel engine and new infotainment system. The 2.0-litre Multijet turbodiesel engine delivers 150bhp and 380Nm at 1,750rpm – claimed to be the highest torque in the Giulietta’s class at low revs. The engine uses the third generation of the Fiat Group’s common-rail system to deliver quick and continuous injection of fuel into the cylinders. Alfa claims the improved combustion process helps ensure quieter running, reduced fuel consumption and reduced particulate and nitrogen oxide emissions.
