Gay organization GOProud will celebrate its endorsement of the Romney-Ryan ticket with a party at Hotel Monaco on Monday. Bay Buchanan is the evening's special guest.

GOProud is the only national gay organization to have endorsed the GOP ticket, a fact that the group is fond of pointing out. The Log Cabin Republicans, the older and perhaps better known gay conservative organization, has withheld its support. (The D.C. chapter, however, has recommended endorsing Romney-Ryan.) Asked if there was any glee over the split between these groups, GOProud executive director Jimmy LaSalvia told Yeas & Nays simply, "We are certainly very proud to have endorsed Gov. Romney."
