During a radio interview today, Obama Press Secretary Ben LaBolt was asked by the host why Obama was talking about Big Bird instead of the terrorist attack in Libya.

“That is not accurate. First of all, Big Bird, the person talking about Big Bird is Mitt Romney,” said LaBolt. “He introduced him on the campaign in  2011 because he refuses to specify how he’ll pay for the 5 trillion tax cut.”

LaBolt ended the call suddenly as he was repeatedly challenged by the host on WTAM in Cleveland, Ohio.
