Money market fund assets rose to $2.663 trillion

NEW YORK (AP) — Total U.S. money market mutual fund assets rose $5.77 billion to $2.663 trillion for the week that ended Wednesday, according to the Investment Company Institute.

Assets of the nation’s retail money market mutual funds rose $60 million to $912.38 billion, the Washington-based mutual fund trade group said Thursday. Assets of taxable money market funds in the retail category rose $790 million to $715.5 billion. Tax-exempt retail fund assets fell $730 million to $196.88 billion.
