Former President Clinton is ready for the first female president of the United States, but it turns out his pick is not wife Hillary -- it's "Golden Girl" Betty White.

Clinton taped an endorsement of the "Hot in Cleveland" star for an NBC special airing Tuesday night in honor of her 91st birthday.

"At a time when our nation is so bitterly divided, it's important to have a leader who's won the respect and the affection of our nation in the way that Betty has," Clinton said in the video, previewed by the Huffington Post.

Last year, President Obama recorded a birthday greeting for White's 90th birthday special. At this rate, she should expect to hear from former President Carter when she turns 92.
