During Vice President Joe Biden’s interview with Field and Stream, he was asked about the meaning of the Second Amendment.

Biden explained that although he believed that the Second Amendment granted an American to own weapons, the government could limit the types of weapons that they owned.

“For example, if the idea was to be able to repel a tyrannical government, then you should be able to own an F-15 if you have the money to buy it, with full ordinance,” explained Biden. “But you’re not allowed to do that, and the court says you can deny certain weapons available for individual ownership. You can’t have a nuclear bomb.”
