Justin Bieber was the star on Sunday night's American Music Awards. He took away the most awards, including artist of the year. While accepting the big award of the night, Bieber brought his mom -- who was his date for the evening -- onstage. Other winners from the evening included Carly Rae Jepsen for best new artist, Nicki Minaj for best rap/hip hop artist, Carrie Underwood for best country album and Taylor Swift for best female country music star.
