Coulter calls Piers Morgan stupid

While promoting her latest book “Demonic,” conservative author Ann Coulter has been confronting her own worst nightmare: waking up before noon. “It’s exhausting, I can’t stand these early mornings,” she told Yeas & Nays at the Heritage Foundation in D.C., where she stopped by Friday afternoon for a book signing. Coulter gabbed generally about her media tour. She said her appearance on “The View” went well but that she was worried her book sales would suffer without a “massive catfight.”

She also addressed her awkward interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan two weeks ago in which he tried delving into her personal life.

“He was very nice to me even though he’s stupid,” she said. “But I don’t mind stupid people.”

Coulter’s book went on sale June 7.
