COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed defenseman Adrian Aucoin on injured reserve retroactive to Jan. 29 and have recalled defenseman Cody Goloubef (GOH'-luh-behf) from the team's American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield, Mass.

Aucoin, scoreless with two penalty minutes in seven games this season, suffered a lower body injury at Minnesota on Jan. 29 and is listed as day-to-day.

The Blue Jackets are without injured defensemen Nikita Nikitin (upper body) and James Wisniewski (concussion, back and leg pain).

Goloubef has four goals and six assists with 28 penalty minutes and a plus-9 rating in 21 games with Springfield this season. The 23-year-old was Columbus' second pick, 37th overall, in the 2008 draft.
