Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal expressed solidarity with Phil Robertson after he was suspended by A&E from the show "Duck Dynasty" for making controversial comments about gay people.

Jindal defended the Louisiana resident, pointing out the hypocrisy of the "politically correct crowd"

"The politically correct crowd is tolerant of all viewpoints, except those they disagree with," Jindal said, although he said he didn't agree with Robertson's comments.

"But I also acknowledge that this is a free country and everyone is entitled to express their views," he said. "In fact, I remember when TV networks believed in the First Amendment. It is a messed-up situation when Miley Cyrus gets a laugh, and Phil Robertson gets suspended."

Jindal is an admitted fan of the show "Duck Dynasty" as it takes place in Louisiana. In August, Phil Robertson's son Willie cited Jindal as someone as he was interested in seeing run for president in 2016.
