Prince George's County firefighters found a body in an abandoned Upper Marlboro house that had been on fire.

Firefighters arrived at the fire about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 15000 block of Buck Lane and discovered the unidentified body after extinguishing the blaze.

It was not immediately clear whether the victim had died in the fire. An autopsy is expected to identify the victim and cause of death.

Investigators have found evidence that the home was being used by homeless people, squatters or vagrants.

Fire investigators and police homicide detectives are investigating the incident. So far, there are no signs that the fire was caused by foul play,

In April, there was a fire at the home that caused significant damage. That fire's cause was undetermined, Prince George's County Fire/EMS spokesman Mark Brady said.
