Body of U.S. woman slain in Bali to be flown to U.S.

BALI, Indonesia (AP) — The body of an American woman will be flown to the United States after her daughter and the daughter's boyfriend were accused of killing her on the Indonesian resort island of Bali.

The body of Sheila von Wiese-Mack was found inside a suitcase in the trunk of a taxi in front of an upscale hotel last week.

Sanglah Hospital's head of forensics, Ida Bagus Putu Alit, said Tuesday the body would be flown home early Wednesday on a Korean Air plane. The official didn't identify which American city, but von Wiese-Mack is from Chicago.

Nineteen-year-old Heather Mack and 21-year-old Tommy Schaefer have been arrested, and Indonesian police said they might be charged with premeditated murder which could carry the death penalty.
