MUMBAI, India (AP) — Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have gotten married after dating for five years.

They were wed in a small ceremony in Mumbai on Tuesday, the Press Trust of India news agency reported. A few friends and family members attended the ceremony at Khan's house, it said.

Kapoor's father and mother and Khan's mother were witnesses, marriage registrar Surekha Ramesh said.

After the ceremony, Kapoor, 32, and Khan, 42, stepped onto a balcony and greeted waiting fans.

Khan has two children from a previous marriage.

They jointly appeared in "Omkara," a retelling of Shakespeare's "Othello" in modern India.
