A 7-year-old boy has been critically injured in a motor vehicle crash in Anne Arundel County, police said.
About 10 p.m. Tuesday, a 1997 Acura struck a parked, 2005 Ford Rollback Tow Truck on Casaurina Way near Spring Meadow Way in Odenton, Anne Arundel County police said. The boy, a front-seat passenger in the Acura, sustained severe head trauma and was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The Acura's driver, a 30-year-old woman, was not injured and was taken to a police station for a mandatory alcohol breath-analysis test. Preliminary information suggests that alcohol and driver fatigue contributed to the crash, police said.
