Michigan Information & Research Service reports:

The House and Senate will take up Right to Work (RTW) legislation today, Republican sources familiar with negotiations told MIRS.

Legislation will be for both private and public workers. The plan is for both chambers to take up legislation today.

Gov. Rick SNYDER, House Speaker Jase BOLGER (R-Marshall) and Senate Majority Leader Randy RICHARDVILLE (R-Monroe) have scheduled a media roundtable at 11 a.m. today.

Sources told MIRS they will be announcing details about the RTW plan. Republican legislators will then see the bill language.

Freedom Works and the Michigan Chamber of Commerce have been on the ground preparing for this legislative fight for weeks. Michigan Republicans are confident they have the votes to pass the Right to Work bill.
