Former Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer apologized on Facebook for his offensive comments about House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., and the commenters on the post are ridiculous.

"I recently made a number of stupid and insensitive remarks to a reporter from the National Journal," Schweitzer said. “I am deeply sorry and sincerely apologize for my carelessness and disregard.”

Of course, he’s most likely only sorry for being called out and not for actually making the remarks. But the commenters below the post are classic.

Like this guy, who knows what makes a great leader:

Or this guy who's standing with Schweitzer:

Or this person who's supporting Schweitzer without even knowing what he said:

Or this person, who suggested Schweitzer use more than his words:

There was this person who needs a bit more than an apology to forgive:

And then there was this person, who turned the tables:

I realize that this was Schweitzer's Facebook page, but that’s one heck of a support group.
