Congresswoman Doris Matsui (D-Calif.), has represented the city of Sacramento and its surrounding areas since 2005. She told Washington Post reporter Ed O’Keefe, “The Internet is so important to everybody, it’s almost ubiquitous in all that we do.” She added that a lack of connectivity is a loss of opportunity: “It’s so sad that we’re dividing up in essence the opportunity to learn.” Here is her full conversation from Washington Post Live's Bridging the Digital Divide forum.
