Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal N.A.K. Browne said the ongoing dispute over China's air defence identification zone (ADIZ) in the East China Sea should be resolved bilaterally between the aggrieving nations. The US, Japan, South Korea and other countries have accused Beijing of increasing regional tension by setting up the ADIZ over disputed parts in the East China Sea which overlaps the Japanese ADIZ. "This is an issue between China and Japan. It is their bilateral issue which I hope they will resolve it amicably," Browne told journalists at the Advance Landing Ground here in Meghalaya.
