Cabinet maker to open facility in Virginia

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A cabinetry manufacturing company is planning to open a facility in Charlotte County, creating 110 jobs.

Gov. Terry McAuliffe said Tuesday that The Corsi Group plans to invest $5 million for the new manufacturing facility. It'll be the company's first operation in Virginia.

McAuliffe approved a $100,000 grant from the Governor's Opportunity Fund for the project. The Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission approved $375,000 for the project.

The Corsi Group was founded in 1973 and is headquartered in Indianapolis, Ind., and has completed more than 50,000 projects.
