Cablevision (CVC) is feeling the heat from content owners over its live TV and video on demand streaming iPad (AAPL) app. Viacom (VIA), which owns Comedy Central and MTV, is said to be unhappy about its inclusion in the app and has complained to Cablevision, sources say; an insider says Viacom and Cablevision are in talks in the hopes of bypassing legal action. Also, a major movie studio says it doesn't believe Cablevision has the right to offer its films in the service. Time Warner Cable (TWC) previously removed some channels from its app due to protests from Viacom, Scripps Networks (SNI), News Corp (NWS) and Discovery Communications (DISCA).
