Campaign official from Obama 2008 to speak in LR

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — The chief operating officer from President Barack Obama's 2008 campaign is to speak at the Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock.

Henry F. De Sio Jr.is to speak at 6 p.m. Thursday. His lecture is titled "Hope and Change and Changemaking."

The lecture will focus on his work with a social entrepreneurship venture called Ashoka. The organization works to prepare the next generation of activists.

Prior to joining Obama's campaign in 2008, De Sio was founder of Way Forward Strategies, a firm that promotes leadership excellence through coaching and consulting services.

The lecture will be in Sturgis Hall.
