NEW YORK (AP) — Billionaire investor Carl Icahn (EYE'-kahn) is giving $200 million to the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan.

The name is being changed to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Icahn says his mother would be proud. He tells The New York Times (http://nyti.ms/ZNaMbJ ) that he dropped out of medical school at New York University after two years because he "hated it."
