RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Virginia State Police say a Henrico County man has been charged in the slayings of two people in Blackstone.

Clyde C. Armstrong was charged Friday with two counts of first-degree murder, three counts of solicitation for hire to commit murder, and one count of first-degree murder for killing a fetus.

Police responding to a call from a concerned neighbor found the victims inside a home on July 4. They were identified as 27-year-old Brian L. Jones and 21-year-old Jasmine L. Morrison, who was pregnant at the time of her death.

The 33-year-old Armstrong is being held without bond pending his arraignment in Nottoway County General District Court.
