CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — The Central Virginia Small Business Development Center has a new leader.
The Daily Progress reports (http://bit.ly/1pFRkLH ) Elizabeth Hoge has been tapped for the post.
Hoge was previously an analyst at the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center in Harrisonburg.
The Charlottesville-based center provides training and counseling for prospective and existing businesses in Charlottesville and Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson and Orange counties. Hoge will work out of the Virginia Workforce Center.
Local governments and the Small Business Administration fund the center. Hoge taught at James Madison University and Bridgewater College and has degrees from Concord University and the University of Cincinnati.
