Former Democratic congresswoman Marjorie Margolies missed her chance at a congressional comeback on Tuesday, when she was defeated in a four-way primary for a suburban Philadelphia U.S. House seat. Margolies, who is Chelsea Clinton’s mother-in-law, lost to state Rep. Brendan Boyle. Former president Bill Clinton also cut an ad for her in the home stretch. Margolies lost her seat 20 years ago after serving only one term after she cast the decisive vote for Clinton’s budget plan.
