CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago Bulls have signed free agent center Nazr Mohammed.

The 14-year NBA veteran played for the Oklahoma City Thunder last season. He appeared in 63 games, averaging 2.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.

Mohammed is a 35-year-old Chicago native who's also played for Charlotte, Detroit, San Antonio, New York, Atlanta and Philadelphia. Since being picked by Utah in the 1998 NBA Draft, he's been on eight playoff teams, including the 2005 NBA Champion Spurs.

He's averaged 6.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in 834 career games.

The Bulls didn't disclose terms of the contract Friday.
