Child struck by car in Germantown

A 4-year-old Montgomery County girl was hit by a car and seriously injured in Germantown, according to police.

The child was hit at about 5:12 p.m. on Saturday in the 1100 block of Summer Oak Drive in Germantown. The child suffered serious injuries and was flown to a local trauma center.
