FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Five executives from a Chinese food importer and distributor are slated to tour North Dakota Sunday through Wednesday.
Officials say the tour by China SDIC International Trade Co. is the result of a trade mission to China earlier this year by North Dakota government and business leaders.
SDIC Trade is a large food importer and has built a distribution network in China.
The executives are slated to visit with local leaders, discuss educational collaboration opportunities and tour agricultural facilities.
North Dakota products of particular interest to Chinese buyers include canola oil, peas, wheat flour, lentils, flaxseed, flaxseed oil and seed varieties.
