During an interview with Fox News host Megyn Kelly aired Monday night, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was asked to name his top candidates for president.

Christie said former Florida governor Jeb Bush would be an "outstanding candidate" for president, and also named Scott Walker, Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio as "really good" choices.

Kelly asked Christie what he thought about Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.

"I think he would be a credible candidate for president," Christie replied, declining to discuss his differences with the Kentucky senator. Christie reminded Kelly that he would campaign for whoever the Republican nominee was.

"How about you?" Kelly asked.

"We'll see," Christie replied, pointing out that he was older and more experienced now than he was in 2012.

Kelly suggested that perhaps the political baggage from the bridge scandal might hold him back.

"You know what, if you don't have baggage they will create baggage for you. That is politics in America today, that's the way it goes." Christie replied. "People don't judge you on that kind of stuff. People look into your eyes and they try to decide what is in here and that is how they vote. They vote for what they believe is in your heart."
