Columbus Dispatch: Subpoenas show Columbus City Schools probe has grown

(www.dispatch.com) State auditors want to know why Columbus students who were marked absent for all or most of the important “count week” in the 2010-11 school year were reported later as having no absences. The state uses the student head count from the first week in October each year to determine how much per-pupil money districts receive.
