Competing peaceful Egyptian demonstrations in DC

Observed in the West End neighborhood of Washington: competing demonstrations outside the Egyptian Defence [sic] Office at 26th and L Streets NW. Those on one side of 26th Street evidently oppose the military takeover. A sign reads, "Military and Politics Don't Fix." Those on the other side evidently support the military and, presumably, oppose the Muslim Brotherhood. A sign reads, "Egyptian Military Our Pride Our Honor." This has been going on for several hours in sunny 85 degree weather. There is a police presence and no indication of violence — but plenty of chanting, on both sides.
