ROCKY HILL, Conn. (AP) — Business executives and economists are set to gather at a conference to review what's going well in Connecticut and what isn't.
The Connecticut Business and Industry Association gathering in Rocky Hill on Friday will feature economic experts and the results of the group's annual business survey.
Businesses and economists will examine what industries are growing, what's driving business investment — or not — and how state fiscal policy affects the economic recovery.
Also on the agenda is Connecticut's competitiveness against other states, particularly the cost of doing business.
CBIA says results of its 2014 survey of businesses will show what the challenges are for Connecticut companies, the No. 1 action by policymakers to improve the business climate and where companies are making their biggest investments next year.
